The sneakers will not be available for sale. Instead, the four pairs being designed will be put up for display from April 17 to 30 at the Limited Edt Chamber store in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in a competition that would allow them to win one of these pairs.

The hit television show starts its highly anticipated eight season next week and the involvement of VeChain is sure to bring the latter some massive attention to its brand.

Massive Brand Awareness Campaign For Vechain

With the sneakers being officially commissioned by HBO, the effort is a great marketing effort for VeChain, which has its NFC chips embedded for more than just style. As the news report states,

Each pair of GAME OF THRONES x SBTG customized sneakers are embedded with Near-Field Communication (NFC) chips powered by VeChain, a public blockchain platform that allows any potential collector the ability to verify the authenticity of each pair through VeChainThor blockchain. The NFC chips also contain exclusive behind-the-scenes videos of each sneaker design which can be played and viewed by anyone using the VeChain mobile app.

VeChain, having launched its mainnet successfully last year, has been on a hot streak of marketing efforts. The project’s supply chain solutions are varied and it is growing in popularity as a choice for enterprises in the Asian market.
