Stellar XLM Gets Exposed To 0.5M Users on Crypto.com App

Wallet and card provider, Crypto.com, has revealed that it has listed the Stellar Lumens (XLM) token on both its wallet and card app, exposing its 500,000 users to the Ripple (XRP) competitor.

Kris Marszalek, Co-Founder and CEO of Crypto.com, said of the listing,

We’d like to welcome the Stellar community onto our platform. As we list XLM today, we also look forward to having it included in our range of products and expand its token use to its hodlers.

Crypto.com has added several tokens in recent weeks, including VeChain (VET) and Enjin Coin (ENJ). The addition of these tokens means that users can spend them at over 40 million merchants across the world.

Sean Rach, CMO of Crypto.com, has said that an important focus of the platform is on millennials, and giving them the power to invest conveniently,

What’s more, by leveraging cryptocurrencies, it is possible to give modern millennial consumers who are always on the go, the ability to transact in their own terms without worrying about layers of hard to understand fees, latency or difficulties of cross-border transactions which are characteristic of traditional banks. When building products at Crypto.com, we understand the need to cater to these changing tastes and habits of consumers and make dealing with finances a seamless part of life rather than a time-consuming and troublesome add on task.

Sure…… can’t wait to spend my XLM at 40 million merchants…… Oh wait I can’t! Because almost fricking nobody gets any cards! I’m sick of waiting all these years! I’m starting to see the patterns….. Wouldn’t be surprised if they never issue any cards outside Singapore.

Lol this company is a joke. First they scam people with MCO and wenn that didn’t work anymore they created CRO. Guess who’s making the most money? Hint, it’s not the small time investors.
