Norway’s Registrar Giant DNV GL Migrates All Certificates Onto VeChain’s Blockchain

Following the VeChain Developer Summit on April 18th where Antonio Senatore, CTO of Deloitte’s Global Blockchain Team, was added to the VeChain Advisory Board, Deloitte’s blockchain team began migrating their client solutions away from Ethereum onto the VeChain platform.

Part of this on-going migration included a large number of certificates that Deloitte and DNV GL co-manage.

For the uninformed, Deloitte is one of the Big Four accounting organizations and DNV GL is an international accredited registrar and the world’s largest classification society. DNV GL is also the largest technical consultancy and supervisory to the global renewable energy and oil and gas industry.

These DNV GL certificates are of vital importance because they guarantee that their clients’ safety, procedures, supply chain, and facilities are in accordance with international standards.

Therefore, the mere fact that they have been migrated to the VeChain blockchain is of great significance for the project and will contribute to its long term growth.

Announcing the successful migration of DNV GL certificates was Kiran Venkitesh, release manager of business applications at DNV GL:
