Sirin Labs’ FINNEY Blockchain Smartphone Will Launch on November 28

The challenge of the blockchain world right now is global adoption. In late 2017, a lot of people bought into crypto projects to make fast money. Many did not understand what they were getting into and hence became bitter when the market took a downturn.

To test the highs that were observed early in 2018, there is need for the global society to show faith in blockchain. A sustainable growth in the value of cryptocurrency will not be triggered by the desire to make money but by actual use cases.

Sirin Labs is a company with the mission of connecting users to the blockchain world through hardware (such as mobile phones and computers) and a security-focused OS which is a Google-certified “fork” of Android. This OS is known as SIRIN OS.

FINNEY is the brand that encompasses the smartphone and computer from Sirin Labs.

The FINNEY smartphone is built with blockchain-related features such as cold wallet storage, computational power, encrypted communication, and more. Learn more about FINNEY in our overview of this blockchain-based smartphone.

Conclusion

Earlier in the year, it was reported that the Taiwan-based company HTC was developing a blockchain phone. The HTC blockchain phone known as Exodus is said to be released before the end of the year.

However, this announcement by Sirin Labs puts FINNEY ahead in the race to be the first blockchain phone on the market.
