Ripple Wins A 2019 Marketers That Matter Award, Bill Clinton Was Present

Ripple has won a 2019 Marketers That Matter Award for “Transformation Journey” in the small company category at the Swell 2018 Customer Event.

Swell is an annual conference organized by Ripple, and the last one, held at San Francisco, was widely covered, and featured such speaks as Bill Clinton. The fact that Ripple had managed to secure a former President of the United States shows the kind of sway that Ripple has. At the time, Clinton said, referring to regulation, that “there needs to be an intelligent effort to identify the downsides”, and then remarks on the novelty of the space,

…you can’t apply [an] old regulatory regime to a new technology…You end up killing the goose that laid the golden egg.

Marketers That Matter has several renowned corporate members, including Accenture, Google, Wells Fargo, Uber, Salesforce, Autodesk, Visa, and many more.

Ripple has had an excellent start to 2019, securing multiple partnerships and growing its RippleNet to over 200 partners all over the world. It was also an honorable mention in the Fast Company World Changing Ideas list and made the Forbes FinTech 50 2019 list.
