BAT & Brave Adoption Skyrockets, 50% Growth in YT Publishers in May Alone

The Brave browser and its accompanying cryptocurrency Basic Attention Token (BAT) are experiencing explosive growth as adoption skyrockets. The number of Brave browser publishers is on an exponential growth trend and shows no signs of slowing down.

According to BATGrowth.com, a website that tracks BAT and Brave browser adoption by tracking who signs up as a Brave publisher through BAT’s official API, the browser is skyrocketing in adoption.

The total number of Brave publishers has now reached nearly 128,000 with 98,009 YouTube publishers, 21,187 website publishers, and 8,750 Twitch publishers:

Brave Publisher Adoption = BAT Adoption

As seen from the metrics above, the Brave browser already has a significant number of publishers who have signed up to Brave as verified content creators (Brave publishers) on Brave Rewards. These content creators can now earn BAT when people use the browser and view Brave’s privacy-respecting ads.

As well, Brave publishers can earn BAT from subscribers, followers, or readers who tip BAT tokens to their favorite content creators.

With this innovative token model, both the Brave browser and BAT cryptocurrency benefit from each other’s adoption in a positive feedback loop. Thus far, the results have been staggering.

The number of Brave YouTube publishers are leading the way for Brave content creators with over 98,000 verified publishers. As seen from the graph below, the number of Brave YouTube publishers has increased exponentially.

As for website and Twitch publishers, their historical growth data shows a similar growth trend, just with smaller numbers.

Moreover, taking all of the verified Brave publisher data into account, the number of BAT addresses has increased as well. As of May 9, the number of BAT addresses is 130,816, meaning that’s the number of BAT holders connected to the Brave browser.

Brave Browser Is Surging in Popularity

As previously reported by IIB, the Brave browser is surging in popularity, as it surpassed both the Firefox and Opera web browsers in terms of the number of Google searches. Also, Brave recently reached 1 million monthly downloads, surpassing Firefox, Coinbase, and Binance.

All in all, Brave is quickly establishing itself as a leading web browser among cryptocurrency enthusiasts and mainstream users as it incentivizes content creators and users to switch over to Brave so they can earn BAT.
